EXPRESS BAHARI BOAT TICKETS
We provide advance Express Bahari boat tickets for Rp300,000 for a single trip per person. You will receive a QR boarding card, so there is no need to queue to exchange your ticket at the office. Tickets can be ordered 1 month in advance, and this service is highly recommended, especially in the high season, when tickets often sell out ahead of time. PRIVATE CAR HIRE
Our trusted driver can pick you up and bring you safely to a variety of locations at the following cost:
- Semarang – Jepara or Jepara – Semarang:
Rp600,000 - Yogyakarta – Jepara or Jepara – Yogyakarta:
Rp1,200,000 - Malang – Jepara or Jepara – Malang:
Rp3,000,000
All prices include fuel and toll fees. For Airport Pick-up, the driver will meet you at the arrivals hall directly.

SHUTTLE BUS
We can arrange a shuttle bus, departing early morning, midday and late evening to bring you from Yogyakarta to the Jepara Kartini Harbour for Rp250,000 per person.
The shuttle bus will take you directly to Kartini Jepara harbour and the journey will take approximately 6 hours.

ON THE ISLAND
TAXI SERVICE
A taxi service is available from Floating Paradise. We have a 4×4 jeep with a qualified driver to bring you safely and comfortably to any destination around the island.
We follow the prices set by the island’s drivers association
For example, a taxi from the harbour/town to Floating is Rp150,000 for a single trip.
SCOOTER RENTAL
Well serviced automatic ‘beat street’ scooters are available for rent at Rp95,000 for 24 hours.
Please make sure you are competent at driving a scooter. A basic lesson is available on request. We will ask for a passport/cash deposit and you must sign a liability form.
We also provide helmets at no additional cost.
ACCESS TO FLOATING
We are committed to making the access to Floating and your stay as comfortable as possible for our guests, but please note the following things:
- Although the journey on the main road to Floating is beautiful, it is a narrow brick laid road that follows the east of the island, it is hilly and unlit at night
- The road then turns off to an unlit dirt track (which gets muddy during the rainy months) and weaves through an old shrimp farm to arrive at the parking area. Floating is accessible by both scooter and car.
- We pick up our guests with their luggage from the bay with a small motorised boat when the weather permits, to make your arrival more comfortable and
unique.
This is why Floating is perfect for the relaxed adventurer!
We understand that some of our guests are not comfortable driving on this road at night, which is why we provide seasonal, local cuisine at Floating, and when our kitchen is closed, we always provide a delivery service. You can trust that you will be in good hands during your stay.
